Studenterhytta is finally open on weekends again!

Stop by for coffee or pancakes after a hike in Bymarka, relax in the sauna or hot tub, grab a beer at the bar, play board games in the fireplace lounge, or simply enjoy a cozy day and evening at the cabin.

The cabin is open from Saturday morning to Sunday noon. You can drop by at any time, but if you want a meal, please let us know preferably as early as possible, but at least two hours in advance.

You are also welcome to stay overnight in the dormitories in the attic. We have 42 beds with pillows and duvets available. The beds are first come, first served (by putting your sleeping bag/sheets on the bed and writing your name at the dormitory list in the entrance). If we are many, we'll find some extra matresses.

Getting to Studenterhytta is easy, whether on foot, by car, or using public transport:

  • Bus to Skistua, 300 meters away

  • Tram to Lian, 4.5 km away
